To promote the practical application of high-tech emergency rescue equipment on the front lines and enable efficient response operations, the Kaichang technical team recently visited a fire and rescue unit with its flagship product—the Multifunctional Communication, Positioning, Search-and-Rescue, and Interactive Intelligent Command System—to establish a digital, intelligent, and integrated on-site command system for frontline firefighters.
During the drill and demonstration, the Kaichang team focused on the practical needs of fire and rescue operations—namely, “being able to locate, see, hear clearly, and communicate effectively”—and conducted a systematic demonstration of the system’s core functional modules, including multi-dimensional environmental sensing, high-precision positioning, real-time voice communication, and interactive intelligent command.
The drill highlighted the system’s capabilities for real-time detection of toxic and hazardous gases, threshold alarms for remaining gas cylinder pressure, and sensing of high-temperature hazardous environments. Once on-site environmental parameters reach critical thresholds, the system instantly triggers bidirectional synchronized alerts between the “front-end wearer” and the “rear command center,” establishing the first line of defense for team member safety. Addressing the challenges of “weak signals and difficulty locating personnel” in complex buildings and underground/confined spaces, the on-site drill demonstrated the system’s self-organizing network communication and search-and-rescue interaction capabilities. Rear commanders can maintain uninterrupted audio and video communication even without public network signals.
During the demonstration, firefighters and key operational personnel personally wore the equipment to conduct hands-on tests. The Kaichang Smart Firefighting Helmet’s fall posture detection feature closely aligns with real-world operational needs; when a firefighter falls, the backend system can simultaneously display specific postures—such as lying on the left or right side—providing strong support for actual rescue operations. Fire department leadership highly commended the system, particularly praising the practical value of this feature.
