Recently, Kaichang, in collaboration with the Shanghai Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management, took the multifunctional communication, positioning, search-and-rescue, and interactive smart command system it jointly developed to a fire and rescue detachment for live-fire testing.

In an on-site environment with temperatures exceeding 400°C, firefighters wearing smart individual firefighting gear and other equipment entered a confined fire scene and conducted continuous testing for over 30 minutes; the equipment operated stably with no abnormalities. Command personnel outside the scene monitored the firefighters’ body temperature, blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and ambient temperature in real time via a rear-area monitoring and command terminal. The entire set of equipment withstood the rigorous high-temperature test, with all performance indicators meeting requirements, enabling command personnel to issue operational commands—such as entering or evacuating the scene—in real time based on on-site conditions.
